Who We Are

More than a school – a creative space for everyone.

GAPA Studios is a vibrant creative hub at 1/37 Gheringhap Street, Geelong. Part performing arts academy, part rehearsal studio, part event venue and part community arts space, built for movement, expression and growth.

From weekly dance and musical theatre to flexible studio and venue hire, workshops and one-off events, GAPA is a place where performers of every age and stage can find room to create.

Weekly classes, ages 4 to adult

Dance

Modern and Theatrical Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet and Hip-Hop. Strong technical training with creativity, confidence and the excitement of performance.

Saturdays, ages 7 to 18

Musical Theatre

Acting, singing and dance brought together, with every class working towards a full end-of-year production.

Three flexible rooms

Studio Hire

Mirrored, air-conditioned studios from $20 per hour.

Up to 200 guests

Venue Hire

Stage, sound, lighting, bar and foyer for your event.

Your space

The Space

A space that flexes to fit you.

Three air-conditioned studios with timber floors and full-length mirrors, plus a theatre room with stage sound and lighting, a foyer and a bar. Available by the hour for rehearsals, classes, auditions and music sessions, or as a full venue for up to 200 guests.

All studio bookings include a shared kitchen with kettle, microwave and filtered water, and men’s, women’s and accessible bathrooms. We are roughly 100 metres from the InterPark parking complex.

Workshops with leading tap dancers and choreographers, part of The Tap Project Australia Tour 2027. Geelong is one of the stops, and GAPA Studios is the only venue in town hosting it.
